Kyriakos Spartalis
Research Assistant
Kyriakos was a Research Assistant with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He assisted with 3D ultrasound scans during surgeries and provided technical support to the team.

Jacob Lund-Andersen
Medical Doctor
Jacob worked on an ad-hoc research project analyzing data on COVID-19 testing, with the goal of identifying important learnings from the vast amount of data on testing collected by the research group during the pandemic.

Márta Menta Czinkóczky
Research Assistant
Márta has a Bachelor's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Copenhagen. She was involved in the clinical research focused on biomarker discovery within the team.
Theresa Dahl Frehr
Research Assistant
Theresa is pursuing her Master's degree in Mathematical Modelling and Computation with a focus on medical image analysis at DTU. She was involved in the technical and clinical research within the team.
Magnus Ahasverusen
BEng Healthcare Technology, Student
Magnus wrote his thesis, focusing on enhancing interaction in surgical assessment workflows in 3D ultrasound.​

Joachim Kjelde
Medical Student
Joachim is a Medical Student and did his research year as part of his Master's degree. He conducted a study on freehand ultrasound to improve the diagnostic workup of lymph nodes in cases of head and neck cancer.​

Nikolaj Severin Stæhr Hertz
Research Assistant
Nikolaj is studying Mathematical Modelling and Computation at DTU, with a strong interest in the newest developments in AI. He worked on building a 3D segmentation model for ultrasound volumes. He also assisted on other related projects.

Katarina is a Communications Assistant pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric. She supported communication tasks through social media and manages the SURGiC website.
