Kasper.jpg

Kasper Daugaard Larsen

Medical Doctor, Senior ENT Resident & PhD Fellow

Kasper is a senior resident in ENTHead & Neck Surgery conducting a PhD project that aims to refine the pre-operative assessment of thyroid nodules. By combining new fine-needle biopsy techniques, high-throughput proteomic profiling, whole genome sequencing and 3D ultrasound imaging, his research seeks to distinguish benign follicular adenomas from malignant carcinomas and thereby spare patients unnecessary thyroid surgery.
